How much gas do I have left?

When you lift the lid of your tank you will see a round gauge about 2” in diameter. The needle will point to the amount (percent, not gallons) you have left.

Propane Safety

If you smell gas, you should immediately put out all smoking materials and any open flames. In addition, don't use any appliances, lights, or cell phones as flames or sparks from these devices may trigger an explosion or fire. If you smell propane that you suspect may be leaking, immediately leave the area and evacuate the building or area where you suspect that gas might be leaking. Once you've left the area, you should try to shut off the main gas supply valve on your propane tank, if it is safe to do so.

Once you've exited the area and are a safe distance from the source of the propane gas smell, you should immediately report the leak from a neighbor's house or other nearby location by calling Trenton LP Gas immediately If you can't reach Trenton LP Gas, call 911 or your local fire department immediately. Above all, do not re-enter the building until a representative from Trenton LP Gas or the local fire department has determined that it is safe to do so.

Finally, you should have a qualified service technician from Trenton LP Gas check your entire system and any of your propane appliances to be sure they remain completely free of leaks before you attempt using them.
